Rebecca Hoppy promoted to President at Rabin Martin

The current Managing Director has been promoted and will be replaced in that role by Kate Schachern.

Global health strategy firm Rabin Martin announced it was promoting current Managing Director and Partner Rebecca Hoppy to the role of President. Taking over Hoppy’s role will be Kate Schachern, a Partner at the firm.

“I’m excited to continue working closely with Rebecca and Kate to create Rabin Martin’s future.  Rebecca’s passion for health is matched by her ambition, creativity and discipline in business. She has the ideal combination of strategic and emotional intelligence necessary to deliver the big ideas, new business models and flawless execution that have made Rabin Martin so successful today,” commented Jeff Sturchio, CEO of Rabin Martin. “Kate’s strategic insights, smart counsel, commitment, skills and demonstrated track record of leadership and operational excellence will help ensure the firm’s continued growth as she takes on her expanded role as Managing Director. I look forward to working with them both to expand the services we offer to a growing roster of clients.”

Rabin Martin became a member of the Omnicom Public Relations Group in 2016. Hoppy, who has been with the firm for thirteen years, helped lead the company through that acquisition.

“I am thrilled that Rebecca and Kate will be taking on expanded responsibilities in leading Rabin Martin through the next phase of its evolution in providing strategy consulting for the world’s leading institutions in health and health care,” said Karen van Bergen, CEO of the Omnicom Public Relations Group.
